It’s quite easy to read to a child in Sims 4. All you need is to purchase a bookcase with at least one children’s book inside of it. Children’s books are specified as white and purple, instead of others with distinct covers.

If your bookcase doesn’t have a children’s book, you can simply buy them by clicking on it. After you’ve purchased the book, you will have to click on the bookcase once again and select ‘read to child’, followed by picking a story to read.

Reading to More than One Child

You can even choose to read to more than one child or you could stick to just one, it’s your choice really.

However, some aspirations will require you to read to your children more than once in order to complete the aspiration.
