The Sims 4 can immerse you deeply into the gameplay by applying real-life elements into a virtual world.

The Pose Player by Andrew’s studios is one of the most unique tools for Sims 4, which lets you play with 12000 animations and poses. You need to add this mod to your game before your Sims can perform any pose.

Before installing the mod, you first need to enable Script Mod from the settings. If you are enabling Script Mod for the first time, you have to restart the game.

  • Menu > Game Options > Other > Select both options.

Now, download the Pose Player mod from Sims4Studio, and then a .zip file will be available once you complete your download. Place both the .zip files into your Sims 4 mod folder.

  • Extract that .zip file in Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.

Once you have installed the mod, you can start the game to ensure Pose Player is working correctly. Testing comes in clutch when you have installed other mods, as they can cause errors in the game.

To start posing in Sims 4, you have to click on a Sim in your household and select “Pose by Name.” If the animation runs perfectly, the mod is installed correctly. Download the list of all the animation and pose codes in Sims 4.

After successfully installing and testing, you can find many pose packs online. Pose packs are easy to install, and you can follow the same process as installing other custom content or mods.

Now, follow these steps to apply a pose to your Sim:

  • Select the animation or pose code of your choice
  • Press CTRL + C
  • The Sims 4 game window will pop up
  • Press CTRL + V + check button

Once you are satisfied with the working of the mod, you can use different poses or animations to run the same test on other Sims. Multiple Sims can perform different poses and animations simultaneously, but some Sims need to be linked together to form a pose.
