Lost Ark Best Class For Solo Play

The solo experience in Lost Ark puts many players off. But, with the right class, playing solo in Lost Ark can be one of the most fun experiences you can have in the game. There’s nothing quite like beating your first Abyss Raid all on your own. Here’s our guide on the best solo classes in Lost Ark for you to enjoy the game on your own!

How Much Content Can Be Cleared Solo in Lost Ark?

Although the main story quest will take you some time to finish, it is not hard and does not require a party. Sure, it is, in some ways easier to complete with a party, but it should not be a problem for any solo player, regardless of the class they choose to main.

After completing the main story, there’s the end game. For PvE, there are a number of choices at your disposal. The Guardian Raids are the perfect choice for players that wish to play the game solo entirely. They allow you to enter the raid alone and will scale the difficulty based on how many players enter.

Abyss Raids are the hardest content you can possibly engage with in Lost Ark. It gives great rewards but it can not be played solo. You will need to either matchmake or have a party. The same goes for the Dungeons

PVP is a great way to earn rewards, but this also requires either a party or matchmaking with other players.

What Are the Best Solo Classes in Lost Ark?

The best classes for solo players in Lost Ark are the ones that can clear rooms of enemies really fast and can hold their own when doing difficult instances like raids. Supportive classes are not the best at flying solo. While they can complete the campaign with ease, they struggle a lot in some activities.

Here is the best class for solo play for each playstyle – ranged and melee.

Melee: Berserker

The best melee class for solo play is by far the Berserker. With amazing damage, good tankiness, and a lot of crowd control. It is the perfect class if you’re looking to steamroll through the campaign and carry some raids. The Berserker is a very versatile class, and with the right build can do some of the most damage in the game.

Here is an example build for the Berserker focused on grinding solo:

When you’re playing as the Berserker, don’t be afraid to jump into the action. You need to be constantly fighting to take advantage of your rage passive. Also, you have enough damage to bail you out if you land head-first in a sticky situation.

Try to take initiative and engage first when you’re trying to carry your team in raids or dungeons. You have a ton of cc, so your teammates have enough time to follow up even if they don’t do so immediately. The Berserker is a really fun and straightforward class, making it perfect if you’re trying to play solo.

Ranged: Sorceress

The Sorceress is the premiere class for damage and AOE in the game. As a result, they can easily clear hordes of enemies in seconds. With swift spells and nuclear-level damage, they are almost essential in taking out harder dungeons and raids. They lag a bit behind the Berserker because they are a little harder to pilot.

When you’re playing as a Sorceress, make sure you stay behind and keep your enemies at bay. Try to clear as many enemies as you can in one or two spells, and leave the bigger ones running around until your spells recharge.

Here is an example build for the Sorceress focused on grinding solo:

In dungeons and raids, try to let your allies engage and tank the damage for you. Use them as meat shields if you have to. You are 100% the most important part of the team and your damage is unmatched, so you must remain alive at all costs.
