We’ve all dabbled in The Sims before, right? If not, now is a perfect time. These Sims 4 Alien Abduction Cheats will help jumpstart any save you’ve got so you can get stuck into whatever Sim-related mischief you fancy!
Cheating is all well and good in The Sims 4, but you need to know where to put the cheats in, right? Well, opening the command console isn’t too complicated at all. All you need to do is press CTR, SHIFT, and C to toggle it on or off. Then, once you’ve typed in the cheat… You just hit enter. Easy peasy.
If you’re playing on a console, pressing all four shoulder buttons simultaneously will also toggle the console on or off.
Before you get stuck in though, it’s worth noting that for a lot of these, you’ll need to have Testing Cheats on, otherwise they won’t work. All you have to do for this is type testingcheats on into the command console. To disable this, you type testingcheats off into the console instead.
If you’re having trouble with this, ‘testingcheats 1’, ‘testingcheats true’, and ‘testingcheats yes’ all appear to work as well.
Where a cheat requires a SHIFT-Click, console users can press X+O on PlayStation 4, or A+B on Xbox One for the same effect.

Sims 4 Alien Abduction Cheats
In order to get abducted, you’ll need to fill the hidden Abduction Meter as best you can. Thankfully, there’s ways you can do that.
First way to increase your chances are… You’ll need your Sim to join the Scientist Career Path from the Get To Work Expansion. With this, you can unlock the Out Of This World Desktop and Satellite Dish, both of which you’ll need in order to select Contact Aliens.

Allows Your Sim To Purchase The Satellite Dish – bb.showhiddenobjects
Be sure to check out the Sims 4 Careers Cheats page to help with this, if you don’t want to fully cheat.
Alternatively, you can use the Search For The Truth interaction on the Telescope (Observatory) which will gradually increase the meter when you use it. Doing this for a period each day will increase your chance. It only appears around 20:00, and lasts until dawn, though. Also, you cannot use the Contact Aliens ability while you’re doing this as that will already have maxed out your Abduction Meter.
It is important to note that both of these are not sure-fire ways to get abducted. A full Abduction Meter will give you around a 25% chance of being abducted each night.
