There are 23 Suit Mods available in total in Spider-Man Remastered; players can have 3 equipped at any one time. These, thankfully, can be changed on the fly so be sure to re-evaluate your loadout prior to taking on a Sable Outpost if you’ve just dealt with the Demons.
Spider-Man Remastered Suit Mods Explained
Below, we’ll list all the Suit Mods available in Spider-Man Remastered and explain what they do. If you’re still stuck, there’s a little video in-game (top right, just below your level) which will help to explain what each of the Suit Mods does.
Battle Tech
Battle Tech adds Focus regeneration to Gadget attacks. This means any time you’re using your Web Shooters, Trip Mines, Web Bombs… All of that, it’ll add to your Focus meter.
Gel Padding
Gel Padding is great if you find yourself constantly being defeated by the Demons. It adds a reduction to incoming Melee Damage and the Demons’ Negative Energy melee attacks pack a big punch.
Long Range Scanner
If you’re using the R3 AR Scanner a lot, and favour stealthier approaches, this is perfect for you. It increases the range of it both in and out of combat.
Combat Analyser
Combat Analyser is great for getting up the levels quick. It increases the XP you’ll get from defeating enemies. Going to tackle a Fisk Hideout between missions? Might be worth putting this on.
Discharge Power Cells
The Perfect Dodge is a fantastic skill to master. This adds an additional damage boost for a short period after achieving a Perfect Dodge.

Silent Step
This is great for a Stealth Build as it increases detection time while you’re sneaking around. Silent Step doesn’t make it impossible for enemies to spot you, but it helps.

Ballistic Inserts
Ballistic Inserts is one of the best to have. If you’re always taking fire while fighting, this will reduce incoming bullet damage.

Scavenger
Always running out of Gadgets? Scavenger adds additional gadget refills to your Finishers meaning you should find yourself with more to spare.

Kinetic Power Cells
This is one of those Suit Mods that fits into a lot of different builds. It increases the rate Focus generates across the board. Coupled with another one of the Focus-based Suit Mods, it can be very effective.

Reactive Lenses
Reactive Lenses are fantastic if you find yourself being hit with stuns a lot. This is a Suit Mod that reduces the effect of Flash Bangs and Stun Grenades.

Webbed Striker
With Webbed Striker, web attacks generate more focus. This can be useful if you’re approaching a situation with stealth, as Web Strikes will boost your Focus a fair bit.

First Aid
With First Aid, you’ll get healed more when you heal with Focus. It’s great for improving survivability in any situation.

Bio Scanner
This increases the duration that scanned enemies remain highlighted. It ends when combat starts, but it more than useful for stealth scenarios.

Full Charge Capacitors
Once you’ve levelled up a few times, Full Charge Capacitors really come into effect. They increase your damage while your health is above 100. As you level up, you’ll find you’ll soon have a comfortable amount of excess health above 100, meaning this will come into play a lot longer in combat.

Threat Sensors
Threat Sensors are great if you’re good at dodging. This Suit Mod slows time after a Perfect Dodge, meaning that you’ll have more time to decide Spider-Man’s next move.

Charged Outer Mesh
This is one of the more unique of the Suit Mods. It gives Spider-Man’s suit a plasma discharging mesh that electrifies it’s surface. When an enemy hits you, they get zapped by it! It has a cooldown, but it can be useful in keeping you going late into a fight.

Metabolic Converter
This adds the chance to generate gadget refills while taking damage. It’s perfect to combine with other Suit Mods if you’re always using gadgets… Not so much otherwise.

Bio Mesh
The Bio Mesh is perfect for helping you take on Hideouts and Strongholds. It’s one of the Suit Mods that absorbs some incoming damage without resetting the combo counter. This can be useful in hitting the special objectives for an encounter, and hunting that elusive trophy.

Blast Plates
Blast Plates reduces incoming blast and rocket damage. It’s simple, but wholly useful if you find yourself being tagged by Rocket Launchers a lot.

Life Support
This Suit Mod is the ultimate addition for survivability. It automatically consumes a Focus bar to heal you when you’re low on health. This means you can focus more on fighting and less on your health bar.

Ferromagnetic Harness
This Suit Mod reduces the duration of the electrocuted status effect inflicted by stun batons and electric weapons. Stun Batons suck, so this is extremely useful in taking them out if you’re struggling a bit.

Stormbolt Discharger
The Stormbolt Discharger is a strange Suit Mod that’s very specific but super-effective if you can use it right. With it, you’ll need to build up an electrical charge through an air attack combo before releasing a brutal electrically charged attack on an enemy on the ground.

Proximity Sensor
This is important in the end-game. The Proximity Sensor reveals nearby secret photo locations that are needed to 100% the game. You can’t do this without it!
