Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remastered is here, bringing back all of the 90’s nostalgia in glorious HD. The first 2 games have been accurately recreated, and it is one of the most fun gaming experiences of 2020. If you missed it, be sure to read our review of Tony Hawk’s 1 + 2 Remastered here.
Each of the 17 levels in the game (minus the Competition levels) has 10 challenges to complete as well as collecting Stat Points and the Vicarious Visions Logo. Here is a guide for completing every challenge and grabbing every collectable for the Mall level.
The challenges for the Mall are as follows:
- High Score 20,000
- Pro Score 80,000
- Sick Score 150,000
- High Combo 15,000
- Collect S-K-A-T-E
- Collect 5 Toy Robots
- Destroy 5 Directories
- Nose Grind The Coffee Grind Gap
- Airwalk The Flying Leap Gap
- Collect The Secret Tape
- 3 Stat Points
- Vicarious Visions Logo
Score Challenges
To complete these, you need to earn a total of 150,000 points in a single run to unlock the Sick Score challenge. In addition to the score challenges, there is also a combo challenge for each level. The Warehouse combo challenge is to get 15,000 points in a single combo.
Collect S-K-A-T-E
Dotted around each level are the letters to spell SKATE. These must be completed in a single run to complete the challenge. Here are the locations for the Mall level:
When starting the level, follow the path down to the bottom and the S is on the rail at the left at the bottom.
Once out of the entrance keep right to find the K on the right hand side.
The A is on a set of double rails after the raised section before the Secret Tape.
After going down the ramp section after the Secret Tape, the T is on a couple of rails before the final section.
The E is in the final section of the level directly in front of a ramp.

Collect 5 Toy Robot
After leaving the first section stay right to find the first robot on a ledge.
Immediately double back on yourself and go up the ramp. Jump over the gap into the statue to find the second robot.
After the second one the third can be found on the second floor on the right side just before the Secret Tape.
After landing from the third robot, look right and the fourth robot is in a shop that you can smash your way in to.
While going down the ramp section, the final robot in on the ledge in the middle. Make sure you don’t skate past it.

Destroy 5 Directories
After beginning the level and getting to the bottom of the starting section, go up the ramp and the first directory is in front of you.
After jumping over the gaps to the second raised section, the second directory is there.
Straight after the rails where the Secret Tape is, the third directory is on the left.
After going down the ramp section the fourth directory is on a raised section in the centre of the floor before the final section.
After skating through the final section the fifth directory is straight in front of you.

Airwalk The Flying Leap Gap
After going up the ramp from the beginning section where the first Directory is, jump through the statue to get to the second Directory. To complete this challenge you need to Airwalk off this platform towards the Secret Tape and the Flying Leap gap should show in the combo list. To perform an Airwalk press Up + Right + Grab (Circle/B).

Nose Grind The Coffee Grind Gap
After leaving the opening section, stay left until you get to the drained fountain. On the left side is a long rail, you need to nosegrind on this rail to complete the challenge. To nosegrind you need to press Up + Grind, you will need to grind a good portion of the rail to trigger the Coffee Grind gap.
Secret Tape
The Secret Tape is found on a rail in air just after the ledge where the Airwalk The Flying Leap Gap challenge is done. Go through the level until you get to the raised platform where the second Directory is. From there you need to Ollie off the ledge onto the rail. It is quite a far gap so you need to be going at max speed and have your Special meter active to give the boost. Once you reach it just grind until the end and Ollie off to grab the Secret Tape for the Mall.

Stat Point 1
On the platform where you Airwalk The Flying Leap Gap, the first Mall stat points is found on the rail to the right.
Stat Point 2
After landing, head down to the ramp section, the second stat point is on the rail in the middle.
Stat Point 3
Once you head into the final section, the third stat point can be found on a rail on the left towards the end of the level.

Vicarious Visions Logo
he Vicarious Visions logo is directly behind you when you begin. Upon starting the level ride up the quarter pipe to gain speed and skate back to where you started and then Ollie off the ledge to grab the Vicarious Visions logo for the Mall.

Gap List
| Huge Stair Set Off A Mezzanine | At the end of the level is a ramp that leads to a level above the final set of stairs. Use this to ollie over the stairs |
| Coffee Grind | After smashing through the doors, stick to the left. Grind the long rail on the left-hand side all the way |
| The Flying Leap | Continue on from the above rail to find a slope up. Leap off the top to the lower floor |
| For the Whole Atrium | Either side of the final room is a raised rail. Grind either of them from one side of the room to the other |
| Fountain Gap | Jump from the rickety looking slope into the hole in the fountain |
| Exit Stage Right | Half way down is an area with three quarter pipes. From the center quarter pipe, ollie over to the right-hand quarter pipe |
| Exit Stage Left | Same as above but to the left-hand quarter pipe |
| Over A Stair Set | Wallride/ollie over a left-hand set of stairs |
| Over A Huge Stair Set | At the end of the level is a large staircase. Ollie over the entire thing |
| Planter Gap | Jump from one planter to the next |
| Rail Combo | After smashing the doors near the start, go up a level and to the left is a rail. Grind it, then ollie down and grind on the Coffee Grind rail |
| Skater Escalator Gap | After the letter A location is an escalator on the left side. You need to clear the escalator in one jump |
| Across The Light Beam | After the fountain, stick to the right and grind the rail past the ramp and the car. Ollie at the end, drop below the light rails, and grind one of the beams below |
| The Long Rail | After the fountain, stick to the right. At the next big slope, grind the right-hand rail and the following ledge all the way down |
| The Short Rail | After the fountain, stick to the left. At the next big slope, go down the escalator and grind the rail that’s around the corner |
