Who Is xQcOW?

Updated:

Félix “xQc” Lengyel is a 24-year-old French Canadian Twitch streamer. Born November 12th 1995, xQc has grown to be one of the biggest streamers on Twitch with over 2.8m followers as of August 2020.

Félix began his career as an Overwatch player as the main tank at DatZit Gaming, a semi-professional esports organisation. Félix and his team won Dreamhack Montreal in 2016. In 2017, Lengyel joined Dallas Fuel as their 9th player. Only being with the team for a few matches, Félix quickly came under fire due to homophobic remarks to a rival player. Shortly after, he received a second suspension for multiple social media violations and hateful comments towards the Overwatch League casters. He later stepped down from Dallas Fuel.

Félix started streaming in August 2014 with his first stream being League of Legends, averaging 23 viewers on his first-ever stream. Today, xQc streams full time on Twitch, streaming nearly 8hrs a day. During July 2020, Félix had 11.6m hours watched, making him the second most-watched personality on the platform.

Although his competitive days are over, Félix still gets himself involved in many controversial discussions. Being one of the biggest still doesn’t stop Twitch from suspending him. Catch up on one of his most recent suspension here.
