How to Create a Club in Career Mode in FIFA 23
Starting a career mode with your own created club can completely change the experience. Many storylines can emerge from your own imagination like national and continental rivalries. You are also not constrained by set objectives and can customize them to your liking.
When creating your club, try to make some notes or think about a few imaginary plot points. For example, your team could use only players from a certain nationality or region.
The possibilities are endless and the immersion can definitely boost the enjoyment you get out of career mode.
As a bonus, you can change your kits every season, adding another splash of realism to the game. You play with your team every game, having different kits each season helps a lot.
5 Create a Club Ideas for Fifa 23 Career Mode
Here are a few ideas to get you started with your create-a-club career in FIFA 23.
City Group Franchise in the Bundesliga / RedBull Franchise in the Premier League
In the last two decades of football, many teams either got picked up by multi-millionaire owners or got straight-up created from scratch. Two of the biggest examples of football groups in the world are the RedBull teams and the City teams.
With RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Manchester City in the Premier League being their main teams, both groups have enjoyed massive success over the years. Although they are not yet rivals in real life, what’s stopping us from making it happen in FIFA?
Why not give yourself a hefty budget and start from the lowest league with the aim of overtaking the greatest club in the country?
Both clubs have a reputation for finding talent and spending a lot of money in the transfer market, so you could try to replicate that. Pick yourself a franchise player and start building around him.

Paris-based rival for PSG
Another dominant force in the current footballing world that was relatively recently purchased by a billionaire investor is PSG. The “poster child” for spending huge sums of money on players, they have completely taken over Ligue 1.
Why not create another Paris-based team and try to take them on?
Some additional “rules” to make it a bit challenging could be that you should have around 90% of your players be of French nationality at all times and you’re not allowed to buy or sell players to PSG.
This could be an excellent premise for a club and country career mode OR a “homegrown only” challenge. Taking down PSG by raising your own players will be more satisfying.
Try to also win the Champions League before they do.
Make sure to select PSG as your rival when starting your career. Try to also pick completely opposite colors, crest, and kit sponsors for your team to immerse yourself in this rivalry.

Create Your Local Club
This is probably one of the most customizable career modes you can make. Who does not love their local football club? Why not create it if it’s not already in the game?
You can set any objectives, rules, or challenges you want for yourself in order to get the most fun you can out of the career.
Did you always wish your club was a giant of the game with lots of money to spend? You can do that. Or do you live in a beautiful area in Europe and sell young talents to bring more tourists?
The possibilities are endless. While you are somewhat limited by the creation tool in-game, it’s got plenty of features that you can edit and play with to make the club as realistic as possible.
New English Club
Everyone knows that the English Premier League is the best league in the world. And it’s no different in FIFA.
The Premier League is the hardest league to consistently win and do well in, and a string of bad matches can take you out of the Champions League spots easily.
Also, the English Premier League has the most inferior leagues in the game, with 4 championships under it. You can try and create a new contender to break the top 6.
Or you can do something completely new and only use homegrown UK players. Who doesn’t love a good road to glory career?
Since most teams in the Premier League have a lot of money, they all buy the best players from all over the world and it can get quite stale. Try to break the mold with some special rules and take it from zero to hero in the best and hardest league to “Road to glory”.
You can start as a big rich club or as the worst club in England, with an old squad, and build your way up. The English League is your oyster.

Fallen or Disbanded Giants
Some of the saddest stories in football include teams that have fallen so hard from grace that it’s hard to think we’ll ever see them up there again or past teams that had amazing players and produced magic moments that disband.
There are many disbanded teams that you can try to resurrect and bring back to life, at least for a little fun in career mode. Teams like Deportivo de La Corunna which dominated La Liga in the early 2000s or the famous New York Cosmos that signed Pele.
We highly recommend doing some research and picking whatever team you find most interesting to revive – and base your objectives, strategy, and rivalries on that.
