In Genshin Impact, the Lizard Tail is a crafting material primarily used in Alchemy and Forging. Below, we’ve listed where you can find one and what you can do with it!
As you might expect, Lizard Tail can be acquired from Lizards in Genshin Impact. These Lizards can be found throughout Mondstadt and Liyue, so you’ll be able to find one fairly easily.
Players should be careful though, as Lizards are quick and often disappear quickly after being spotted. So, you’ll need to be ready to run after one when you spot one.
The Lizard Tail in Genshin Impact is described as “very bitter”, but has “skin-hardening properties”. However, for some reason, it is used in offensive Alchemy recipes rather than those that fortify players or offer resistance.

Where To Find A Lizard Tail in Genshin Impact?
As mentioned previously, Lizards are quite common and can be found across both the Mondstadt Region and the Liyue Region.
Notably, you can find them near Starfell Lake in Mondstadt and in Jueyun Kast in Liyue. There is also a chance that a Lizard Tail will spawn when you hit a bush with a melee weapon.
