  1. Zoom out of your house and select the roof using the removal tool (the hammer) to take it off
  2. Choose a staircase and its pattern, and place it in your home (it does take some space, so be cautious of where you place it)
  3. Head up there and start adding your walls to create rooms, add windows and doors, cover your walls and floor and make it your own
  4. Add a roof to your second floor
