The unlock challenge for the H4 Blixen is unusually difficult, requiring you to get 3 slide kills in a single game 15 times. This can be very difficult if you aren’t prepared. We’ll cover the easiest way of tackling this huge challenge down below.
Unlocking the H4 Blixen in Vanguard
The fastest way to complete this unlock challenge is by playing Call of Duty: Vanguard. This is due to the more casual nature of the game, and the unlimited respawns that most modes provide. Since attempting to slide kill is very risky, you’ll definitely want Vanguard’s unlimited respawns while taking on this challenge.
Slide kills are high-speed maneuvers, so you’ll want to pick a gun with high mobility for this challenge. SMGs are the best choice for this reason. I recommend the MP-40, due to its high damage and low recoil.
The quickest way to hit your target while sliding is through hip-firing. Unfortunately, this puts you at a disadvantage in a fight, since you can’t aim as accurately as your opponent.
Make sure you equip your chosen SMG with attachments that boost hip fire accuracy to maximize the chances of winning. Controller players may also want to change their button layout to make it easier to slide and aim at the same time.
The best way to do this is to head to the controller menu and switch to the ‘Tactical’ button layout. This layout allows you to start a slide with the right stick, letting you slide and aim without moving your right thumb around the controller.
Once you have a good class set-up and the right button layout, you’re ready to head into a game.
Be sure to fight close-range battles to increase your chances of winning while hip firing, and don’t get discouraged if this challenge takes a while to complete. If you persevere, you’re sure to complete it.
Unlocking the H4 Blixen in Warzone
Completing the H4 Blixen unlock challenge is much more difficult in Warzone than Vanguard. This is for two reasons: Warzone’s long time to kill and the limited respawns that come with the battle royale format.
To get around the first limitation, you’ll have to use the guns with the fastest time-to-kill in Warzone. The best of these is the Marco-5, an SMG that is remarkably fast to take down targets. Equip the Marco-5 with attachments that boost hip-fire accuracy to boost your chances of getting the kill.
To get around Warzone’s limited respawns, you should stick to non-traditional battle royale modes. The most popular of these is Rebirth Island Resurgence, a mode that gives you endless respawns, so long as one member of your squad remains alive.
Controller players should also consider switching their controls to the ‘Tactical’ button layout in the controller menu. This layout allows them to slide without moving their right thumb away from the stick, speeding up reaction time.
Unlocking the H4 Blixen by Buying a Bundle
The final way to unlock the H4 Blixen is by buying a bundle that includes it. Buying a bundle completely bypasses the unlock challenge, giving you the gun instantly.
