There are a few ways to raise your Sim’s Charisma skill in The Sims 4. While Charisma is gained in small amounts from normal activities like talking to other Sims, there are some methods you can use to make gaining Charisma a much faster process.

Practicing in Front of a Mirror
The fastest and most reliable way to level your Sim’s Charisma Skill is by practicing different skills in front of a mirror.
Your Sim will have the ‘Practice Speech’ interaction by default, with other options such as ‘Practice Epic Story’ and ‘Practice Pick-up Lines’ unlocking when your Sim is feeling certain emotions.
You should take any opportunity you can to practice a skill in front of a mirror. Practicing in the mirror before going about other activities each day is a great habit for your Sim to get into.
Other Charisma-boosting Methods
While using a mirror is by far the most effective way to level up Charisma, there are a couple of other methods you can use to break up the monotony of practicing speech all the time.
The first is one that your Sim will do naturally – talking and interacting with other Sims. While this is a slow way to gain Charisma, it can be good to pay attention while socializing to see how your Sim’s rising Charisma is affecting their conversational skills.
Another way to raise your Sim’s Charisma is through reading a Charisma skill book, purchasable from a bookshelf or on a computer.
Boosting Skill Gains by Using Emotions
Your Sim’s emotions don’t just unlock different interactions with mirrors. Depending on the emotion they’re feeling, their Charisma gain can be sped up significantly.
When a Sim is feeling Confident, they will gain Charisma at a much higher rate. For this reason, it’s a good idea to keep your Sim feeling confident as much as possible as they interact with Sims and practice in front of mirrors.
You can easily make a Sim confident from within the house. The first way is by brushing your teeth. Once that’s done, head over to the mirror and choose to ‘Psych Up’. Completing both of these actions will make your Sim feel Confident, boosting Charisma gain significantly.
