Uniforms might not be the main focus of Ready or Not, but they sure look awesome. There aren’t many uniforms in the game as of now, but there is one that stands out above all. That would be the Federal HRT Uniform. And today we’ll show you how to get the HRT Uniform in Ready or Not.
Ready or Not prides itself on its gritty and realistic aesthetic. You’ll rarely see anything out of place, and the characters you play are as designed to be as immersive as possible. Besides looking awesome, uniforms will also allow you to blend in with your surroundings on certain maps.
How to Unlock the Federal HRT Uniform in Ready or Not
To put it simply, the Federal HRT Uniform can be unlocked by buying the Ready or Not’s Supporter Edition on Steam. The Ready or Not: Supporter Edition costs about $72 on Steam, and will let you equip the Federal HRT uniform in-game.
If you feel like this might be too much for a game like this, then you’re not wrong. But, you have to keep in mind that the Supporter Edition also gives you access to the first future expansion, the official soundtrack, and its experimental supporter branch that lets you play-test maps before they release.
If you did buy the Supporter Edition and want to equip the Federal HRT uniform in-game, you can do that by going to the locker room in your headquarters.
As you can see, there aren’t many Uniform options as of right now. LSPD SWAT and LSPD SWAT OD are nearly identical except for the color pattern. The Federal HRT is different though – sporting a forest camouflage design that clearly sets it apart from the other uniforms.
How to Get the Federal HRT Uniform with Mods

Moving on, the mod in question is called the FBI HRT Reskin for SWAT. It will replace the textures of your default uniforms with a uniform that looks very similar to the Federal HRT uniform.
Modding the game opens up countless ways for you to redefine the game and shape it into something that you would deem perfect. Ready or Not is quite mods-friendly. So you don’t have to worry about account bans and suspensions when using uniform mods.
There is also a lot of uniform reskin mods on Nexus that allow you to roleplay other foreign tactical units. So, if you ever feel like roleplaying as another police department, make sure to browse through what their Nexusmods page has to offer.
Is the Federal HRT Uniform Worth it?
Gameplay-wise, there are no distinct disadvantages or advantages when it comes to uniforms. They are purely cosmetical, and won’t change how the game interacts with you. All of this also applies to the Federal HRT uniform.
We do not recommend buying the Supporter Edition solely to get the HRT uniform. But you’re free to do whatever with your money. The supporter edition of the game is meant more for people who actually want to playtest the experimental branch and support Void Interactive. The unique uniform is just a small bonus.
