If you choose the path of a wordsmith in The Sims 4, then you’ll need to know how to write articles. In this article, we’re going to show you how to do exactly that, and the earnings you can make when doing so. So without any further delay, let’s jump right in.
Writing Articles in The Sims 4
After choosing the Journalist Career in The Sims 4, you will gain the ability to write articles about the daily lives of Sims. First, choose a Sim, and look under Friendly interactions, then select “more choices” and select the “Interview about Life” option.
Once you’ve interviewed the chosen Sim, you’ll get a notification that details the traits you’ve learned about that Sim in the top right corner of the screen. Complete as many interviews as you need to, and you can head home to start writing your articles.
Access your computer, select the “write” option, and then either choose “write a positive article” or “write a negative article”. Positive articles strengthen your relationship with that Sim while negative articles erode it. Both have a minimal effect, but they might affect your Sim’s attempts to make friends.
You will need to interview four Sims in order to complete the Daily Task. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck interviewing, writing, and interviewing again. In addition, positive and negative articles both earn you the same amounts of cash instantly and take about an hour to write.
