Ready or Not has been in Early Access on Steam for a long time. Dark corridors, enemies hiding in the shadows, civilians waiting to be rescued behind closed doors, and the only requirement for success: teamwork. To clear those dark corridors you might need some light. Here’s how to turn on the flashlight in Ready or Not
The first thing you should know about the new game from VOID Interactive is that it’s brutal. You’ve almost no margin for error, especially on difficult maps. Even after teaming up with your friends, you should choose your equipment well and follow the basic rules of engagement.
How to Use Flashlight in Ready or Not
In most FPS games, the flashlight is a piece of equipment that your character always carries. Not in Ready or Not. So if you don’t want to get lost in the dark corridors, you should equip a flashlight before you start the mission. Don’t forget that it’s one of the most useful among dozens of different equipment items.
To equip the flashlight, go to the workbench before the game. Choose your main weapon and select the flashlight among the weapon attachments. That’s it! Now you have an alternative light source besides the night vision goggles.
If you haven’t changed the button settings, you can use the flashlight in Ready or Not by pressing the TMB2 button on your mouse. These are small buttons, usually called the thumb mouse button, on the left side of your mouse. If the model you’re using doesn’t have these buttons, you can bind it to something else.
