Raft How to Get Dry Brick

Getting the Dry Brick is necessary to make the Smelter in Raft. However, compared to the other items needed, players can’t obtain this brick in a straightforward, intuitive way. This is why we decided to make this guide and show you how to get Dry Bricks in Raft.

Crafting a Wet Brick

The first step for getting Dry Bricks in Raft is to first craft Wet Bricks. You can easily do this by:

  1. Prepare 2 Sand and 2 Clay.
  2. Open the Resources tab (the one with a Nail icon) in the crafting menu.
  3. Select Wet Brick.
  4. Click the “Craft” option.

You will need 6 Dry Bricks to make the Smelter, so get enough sand and clay for the task. Players will need one Wet Brick for every Dry Brick they will make.

All you need to do to get Dry Bricks is to place the Wet Bricks on the Raft and wait for five minutes. Once the time has passed, players will see that the Wet Bricks have turned into Dry Bricks. You can now use the Dry Brick to research both the normal Smelter and the higher-level Electric Smelter.

To research the Smelter, all you need are:

  • 4 Planks
  • 6 Dry Bricks
  • 4 Scraps
  • 6 Nails.

The Smelter is an incredibly useful item to make, as it can turn Metal Ore, Copper, and Titanium Ore into ingots. To use it, players must constantly feed it planks. At this lower level, it can only hold four planks at the same time. It also takes around one minute for the plank to be destroyed.

And now you know how to get Wet and Dry Bricks, and how to make a Smelter in Raft. There are always more items players can make in Raft, so we are just going to leave a few more guides here for interested rafters:
