How to Change Fire Mode in Ready or Not

Updated:
Fire mode has a tactical significance in Ready or Not.

When you want to make an absolutely realistic game like Ready or Not, you have to pay attention to even the smallest detail. And it’s necessary to be aware of the simplest functions of the weapons. For example, changing fire modes. Here’s how to change fire mode in Ready or Not.

Let’s say you have chosen the best weapons for your loadout. You have all the necessary variations like melee, ranged, bombs, and Mirror Gun. But you aren’t sure whether to use your main weapon in full auto or burst mode (we don’t know why would you use burst). Switching between the two modes is quite simple.

Fire Select in Ready or Not

There isn’t much on the internet that gives proper instructions on this topic. Because in the game settings the word Fire Select is used and not the word Fire Mode. Ready or Not weapons have different firing modes. But not every weapon has all three:

  • Full Automatic
  • Semi-Automatic
  • 3-Round Burst

Almost all automatic weapons you select for your loadout have two of these three modes. Other than that, shotguns or sidearms usually have a single-shot mode. So how do you switch between the three modes? It’s easy. You need the press “Fire Select” button, which normally is “X”.

Even if you have changed the key settings according to your own playing style, you can enter the settings and find the reassigned key.
